Achievements in 2006: We are members of Satellite Users Interference Research Group. We hope we can suggest solutions to our customer with the combined knowledge of its members. Our Alok Chattopadhyay made a presentation at the SUIRG meeting in Stockholm July 2006 about the ADJACENT SATELLITE INTERFERENCE problem that we identified in one of our projects involving installation of a few 2.4M antennas for the corporate use of a major multinational company.Complete Seminar Proceedings Click here for details -Presentation in Progress Technical Details Another very interesting project we did involved working in embassies of different countries in some other country. For instance in Belgian, Austrian embassies in Pakistan, Austrian Embassy in Iran and so on. Getting visas for these countries through permission of the Government of the country where the Embassy we were to visit was located , with a request from the country whose Embassy we were to work in, produced some interesting situations. For the first time technical personnel had to deal diplomatic procedures! Some pictures of these installations Click Here Our Indrajit led the group installing a 7.2 Vertex RSI working in the DBS band at Rambouillet near Paris for Eutelsat. Such a high frequency antenna and in a G 5 country is an achievement for us.See the Antenna Farm here He also worked with a group which was a mini UN with people from the US, China India and a person of Bangladeshi origin in Nouakchott in Mauritania. It was a 13M NWIEE Chinese antenna. (Click here for picture) He and Manju installed a 9.3M on an existing pad in remote Bissau using a coring machine and special cements. (Click here for picture). Manju also did a similar job in India, a 6.3M Vertex RSI antenna. We have completed two 9.3M antennas together in six weeks at Mumbai (See Picture) Refurbishment
